Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are always welcome at Barnhart's. No appointment required. Come in whenever works for you and we'll tell you what the wait looks like. The easiest times to walk in are weekday mornings and evenings after about 6pm. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are our busiest.

We take walk-ins up until about 30 minutes before close. That's 8:30pm Sunday, 9:30pm Monday through Wednesday, and 10:00pm Thursday through Saturday. We don't take walk-ins right up until the door locks, but you're good up until then.

Gender Affirming Services - A Welcoming, Respectful Space

Everyone is welcome here — every identity, every background, every kind of hair. We're proud to be a queer-owned, gender-affirming shop, and we hold that space with care. Barnhart's runs on mutual respect and dignity between our barbers and our clients, and the conversations here are as diverse as the people who work and live in Denton. Harassment, hate, or disrespect toward our clients or our barbers isn't tolerated. Treat the shop and the people in it with respect, and you'll always have a seat in our chairs.

Hours & Open Late

We keep late hours so you can come in after class or after work. Check our current hours below before you head over, and feel free to call or text if you're not sure we can still fit you in.

Cancellations

In our industry, our time is literally our money. We understand that life happens and some things are out of your control. If you need to cancel, you have a few options: log in and cancel your appointment right here on the website, reach us through the "Let's Chat" icon in the corner, email us at barnhartsbarbershop@gmail.com, or call or text us at 903-830-1329. Please cancel or reach out at least an hour before your appointment. That gives us time to offer the slot to someone else.

Late Arrivals

Traffic, a class running long, work keeping you over — we get it, things happen. If you're running late, just reach out and let us know. We may still be able to get you in for part of your service, or take a walk-in during your booked time. The more heads-up you can give us, the better we can work it out.

Kids' Cuts

Kids are welcome at Barnhart's, and we offer haircuts for every length. Booking a specific kids' service and time ahead of your visit helps us give your little one the patience and attention they deserve.
